Hi Barry, We had a similar problem of a project I was working on earlier in the year.
Do you have any security settings on those URL's. We had password/username combos on the URL's and could not get the RDS to work within Dreamweaver MX. We could not find an easy solution and did not have the time to research the problem. There were some postings on the macromedia forums, time prevented us from following it up though.
