Hi all
we just upgraded from cf5 to cfmx6.1. That was 99% a positive experience
in both the configuration and migration issues. However just a few
quirks have surfaced.
1) CFMX 6.1 problem with returning Now()
on a win 2000 server, seems to return UT time (ie 10 hours less) and
not the local time of the machine yet
on my laptop (win 2000 workstation) with the same software, it
returns local computer time (as expected).
cant seem to find any place that might have confused it. The
Date/time settings on both machines look fine.
2) One particular script seems to take 8 seconds to parse and display
yet the next time it is down to 400 msec.
Then without any changes, it decides to take 8 seconds again. The
database calls are fine, the content seems compact,
there is one http call but that seems Ok. The only possibility is I
have some session variables that need to
be evaluated. Any body got any suggestions what to look out for. The
original code has been ported from CF5 without
any changes. The calls to includes within this script are executing
within a few milliseconds.
3) The following error
null null - The error occurred on line -1.
This error has totally stumped me. I normally write code with the
line numbers starting fom 1 !!
Unless it is something cranked up by application.cfm. Have only seen
it once
4) Another error -
The cause of this output exception was that:
java.net.SocketException:
Connection reset by peer: socket write error. The error occurred on
line 62.
I have been getting a few of these. Maybe it's a timeout issue
Thanks in advance
