I may have come across this before - This could be to do with the CFchart tag only having support for 15 or 16 series and if you go over that then it will throw horrible errors - I think I've seen a note to the regard that this is fixed up in mx6.1. I have checked whether fixed up means it doesn't do a really bad error or whether it can handle 16+ series.
So try reducing the number of series. Regards, Mark
