Acually the animation pulled me along far enough to find out what the product was 
about, and I am not usually sucked in by such things.  I also forwarded the link to a 
couple of other people - word of mouth spreads fast in this time of connectivity.

I disagree that the product developer would be disappointed to have such a cool thing 
dragging their customers in, and is also a good example of 'Viral Marketing' (look at 
the discussion on CFAUSSIE) ;)

Having said that, wait a few months until 500 other websites do the same thing and it 
gets really, really dull.
