Hi Gary, It doesn't have an installer because it doesn't need one - you just copy the Mozilla Firebird directory from the zip to somewhere on your hard drive and create a shortcut to the exe file.
I've never had a problem on Win2K Pro or WinXP Pro - what kind of errors did you get? -- Kay Smoljak ------------------------ http://kay.smoljak.com "Gary Menzel" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote in message news:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Use a real browser (http://www.mozilla.org/products/firebird/) So... a couple of weeks back - I did just this. I installed it (without having a clue what I was doing - very few instructions - no real installer - or nothing obvious). And then it would not work. Got errors, never managed to even see the UI. So then I uninstalled it. However, given that we are in the process of a complete site re-design (finally) I would really like to run Firebird to test things. If anyone has any pointers to what I might be doing wrong (Windows 2000 Pro machine) please email me off list. --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MX Downunder AsiaPac DevCon - http://mxdu.com/
