Which way is easier/more secure for authenticating against Novell (ideally Single-Sign-On) - LDAP queries or a java cfx tag?
Well both easier and/or secure would depend on the environment. But for what it's worth I'd always recommend using standards -- in the absence of any other info, LDAP seems a more appropriate solution.
