He's your final reminder that this month's Queensland CFUG meeting will be Thursday
night (tomorrow), not our normal Wednesday night (tonight).

Details:
When 6:30 pm, Thursday, 2nd of October 2003
Where Alpha Business Systems
Unit 1, 31 Thompson Street
Bowen Hills QLD 4006

Our meeting has been moved this month to be on Thursday night (not our usual Wednesday
night) so that it coincides with the Macromedia MX2004 Launch, Brisbane Roadshow
event, which is on the morning of the same day at the Brisbane Convention Centre.
Details about this roadshow event, including registration (essential), can be found at
this link:
 http://www.macromedia.com/ap/events/1003_mx2004_launch_anz_ap.html
You should really make an effort to go to this event. They are definitely worth the
couple of hours time.

This month at CFUG QLD:

Scott Barnes will tell us about the new features of Flash MX 2004. He'll give us
reasons for upgrading and generally tell us all the things he's learned while on the
beta program for this product and since its launch.

We'll also have a general discussion about last months MX 2004 launch.

We will have our usual news update from Macromedia.
We've got new offers from New Riders, Peachpit and O'Reilly book publishers.

As usual there will be free pizza and drinks!

If you haven't already, then please RSVP by 5pm Thursday, 2nd of October, as it helps
make sure there's enough pizza for everyone.

Don't miss it.
See you there.

Darren Tracey
CFUG QLD Manager
