I think I'm settling down with HTML2PDF now. (I'll be looking at using FOP with the XSL later on) I've got the images to work, but I'm still not happy about the extreme low level of html allowed in its render.
Anyway, I have a new and exciting challenge for the list this week: You can have hyperlinks on text in PDF files. Is it possible to do the equivalent of a 'target="x"' for the PDF link? I want a new browser opening up when a link is clicked on, as the link is for drill down info, and shouldn't disturb the PDF file that the server has just laboured over making. Any ideas? Has anyone ever seen this happen? Even better yet, does anyone know how to do it, preferably with HTML2PDF?
