I know this subject has been touched a few times now, and to me it really looks like the world is just not ready for PDF converters....
But.... I have to evaluate some of these converters, and to be honest with you I don't think any of them will do the job they require it to do (proof me wrong if you can).
Their requirements:
- Ofcourse it needs to look exactly the same as the web document, and what I have seen so far it never looks the same expecially when CSS is used
- It needs to automatically print in Landscape even though the webpage is not (not sure if this cannot be achieved, I know it can be achieved with an ActiveX control)
- It needs to be fast (from what I have seen so far it takes at the minimum 10 secs to generate a simple document)
Anyway, before I get back to the PM I'd like to have some input on my thoughts from others who have investigated.
