I would think that the main thing you would want to be doing is mostly just taking notes. Whatever your preferred method of note taking is will depend on what you _need_. Paper and pen, laptop running something that records general typing, or something else. You may want to do these other things you list in some spare time, but honestly, there just won't be that much spare time, and you would probably be better off networking with all the other people there.
