I don't know about anyone else, but it seems to me that macromedia's plan to push contribute with a .mac subscription, and telling people that they can hook their small business up with paypals credit card facilities, is going to do a lot of small developers out of a job.
The biggest market we have as individual / sub-contract developers is small business, and now the same company that helped us reach that market want to take it from us. Don't get me wrong. I love their work, but if they do developers out of business, who is going to buy their software?
