This month at CFUG QLD:

Our meeting is back to its usual time, date and location this month, and will be the
perfect place to spend a few hours before the midnight global release of the new
Matrix movie: Matrix Revolutions.

Barry Beattie of Qantm will tell us all about his plans for Qantm's latest course:
Diploma of Internet Programming.

Gareth Edwards will be showing us the forum application he wrote in CF for a local
cycle club, and telling us about how he did it, the triumphs, the tragedies, and his
eventual outcome.

I will be giving you all the latest news from Macromedia and Microsoft about
Microsoft's planned changes to all future versions of Internet Explorer, which will
change the way it handles all active content including Flash apps.

Keanu Reeves has had to cancel his planned discussion due to last minute commitments
elsewhere. ;-)

We will have our usual news update from Macromedia.
We've got offers from New Riders, Peachpit and O'Reilly book publishers.

As usual there will be free pizza and drinks, and for the health conscious, we will
also have platters from Subway!

If you haven't already, then please RSVP by 12noon Wednesday, 5th of November, as it
helps make sure there's enough pizza and subs for everyone.

Don't miss it.
See you there.

Darren Tracey
CFUG QLD Manager
