ok, so you're on the latest version of CFMX...

How many datasources do you have? :: 21

Nothing too unusual there.

Do the usernames or dasource names for any of the datasources contain unusual characters? :: none except underbar _

Should be ok

Are any of the datasource names, or usernames very long? :: longest is
18 chars

Shouldn't be a problem.

Do any of the datasources use any of the advanced settings and do any of

them use unusual drivers? :: Using access and mssql, normal default
settings expect those recommended by macromedia to overcome 'No more
data available to read' bug in drivers

Nothing too unusual here either...

Have you had a look at the corrupt neo-query.xml?

You know you can deserialize it using <cfwddx> and use cfdump to see what's in there.

Which version of CFMX are you using?

There were issues with this file in early versions of CFMX, but they
were fixed in updater 2 or 3 from what I remember.

You might want to check the names of your datasources to make sure they
don't contain any unusual characters.

Has anyone else been experiencing regular corruption of this file. We
are frequently needing to revert to the .bak file in the same directory or our own backups (as recommended by Macromedia). Just wondered if anyone was aware of a way of preventing this issue.
