Hi Steve

This is not an intermittent problem.
It is now the only thing my CF server will do.
It behaves this way when the PC is not under heavy load, or infact however the PC is
loaded.
It does it with every page that ends with .cfm, even if it does not actually have any
CF code on it.

Here's an example:
new.cfm has this code in it:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">
<html>
<head>
        <title>Test Page</title>
</head>
<body>
<h1>This is the page!!!!!</h1>
</body>
</html>

It produces this html code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN">
<HTML><HEAD>
<META http-equiv=Content-Type content="text/html; charset=windows-1252"></HEAD>
<BODY></BODY></HTML>

Notice that the DOCTYPE tag has even been changed?
I don't know where its coming from, or why its doing it.

Regards

Darren
