Depending on which version of CF you are using, this may prove very expensive (timewise) since CF will have to compile the file for every execution...
True. But you can improve performance a lot by only writing out the file when the DB content changes [you need to name the include file based on the table key and a version number or similar]. That way the page will only be recompiled if the DB content changes between requests to the same page.
