Hi Simon,

I came across this problem before - it is possible to get around it but
there are issues to be careful of -

The smtp server ip is in the headers of the text file in the spool
directory - The thing to be careful about is to use a quality text editor
(vim or something like that) that will respect the line endings - I think
the mails use unix type line ending and not windows type line ending - so
Notepad will screw with it and the mails will get horribly mangled.

So in short try editing it with VIM or some other Unix style editor - then
drop em back into the spool directory and Bob should be your uncle.

Hi folks,

We've just come across an issue that I was hoping someone might be able to
suggest a solution.

Our wonderful service provider decided it would be fun to change the name
of the mail server without informing anyone, so we now have over 100 email
sitting in the undelivered directory.

i've updated the server name in the administrator and edited the emails in
the undelivered directory hoping that I would be able to just drag them
back into the spool dir and that would be that. Unfortunately it appears
that's not the case.

all new emails created by CF are sent without a problem, but I can't get
the other to be resent.

Any ideas?

Cheers,

Simon
