CFGRAPH was Flash Generator based. CFCHART is a completely new solution -- not as pretty but infinitely more flexible.

Still I think there is plenty of room for improvement. I've been playing with some beta tags from a company that does Java charting components... they are very pretty indeed. When these guys get their acts together and sort out some licensing I'll post the relevant URL.

hey y'all,
i recently upgraded from CF5 to 6.1, so all my pretty pie charts created in CF5 with <CFGRAPH> have had to be reconfigured using the <CFCHART> tag.
Is it just me or does CFCHART suck severely in the eye candy department? I cannot get the pie charts to remotely resemble the cool appearance that was possible with CFGRAPH, despite the addition of seemingly 1000's of new attributes in CFCHART. Especially when it comes to the 3D shadowing that was handled so well in CFGRAPH.
what is everyone else doing with cfchart? have you experienced the same issues? any work arounds or tips?
thanks
