The email won't be sent if there are no records.
A simple test will show that.

As Peter said you don't need cfoutput in the cfmail as anything is evaluated
automatically..

Subject: [cfaussie] CFMAIL and Query Attribute

Question for ya' all.

if i have something like this:

<cfmail
  ...
  query = "qMyQuery"
  >

.
 <cfoutput>
      #hereIsMyData#
 </cfoutput>
.

</cfmail>

If qMyQuery has no records in it, does that mean that the email won't send???

Cheers,

Mark
