go into the admin panel, click Custom Tag Paths and add your path, it will then find
the custom tags..
CF will also find a custom tag if its in the same dir as the executing template.

Subject: [cfaussie] Custom tag directory defaults

The states that custom tags may be placed in a directory called Custom
Tags, preferably X:/CFusion/CustomTags/

I'd like to place my tags in such a directory, but the structure we have
starts about three levels down from root, and any directory must therefore
be created below it e.g. c:/Inetpub/wwwroot/TheSystem/CustomTags/

I've created a Custom tags directory in this manner, but the tags aren't
being read.

Should the dir name be "Custom Tags" or "CustomTags" (neither works) ?

If being three levels down means that the Custom Tags directory isn't
searched by default, how do I specify it as the default tags dir ? I'm
using MX.

I tried several searches on Custom Tags, but haven't been able to find
these answers yet.
