Yes, Sean, this is a repost. There's all kinds of weird stuff happening with emails now. I have not received this message or anything in this thread into my mailbox, and I'm using the web interface right now. Yet I've had other messages from the list. Dunno. Beats me.
I was trying to ask the question on the list for about 36 hours, and I sent it at least half a dozen times, in mail sessions where McAfee detected about 50 or more of those rotten W32/MyDoom attacks. For all I know those emails were swallowed up by the virus. Who knows. By all rights, this message should have appeared at least half a dozen times, or else not at all. Why it's appeared on the list twice is a mystery. Why it hasn't made it back to my outlook when other messages have is another mystery. If I hadn't seen my question here on this list using the web interface I'd have thought perhaps it was being stripped out or blocked or something. But clearly that's not the case. Perhaps my incoming Outlook spam/virus screening is chucking out my own messages. Dunno. Anyway thanks a lot for your answer Sean, it wasn't until Geoff suggested the web interface that I realised that my question had indeed appeared and been answered.
