I've got an issue where we cgi.remote_host is returning the address of the firewall/ NAT box rather than the clients IP.
In previous situations we have been able to access the HTTP_X_Forwarded_For variable to get the real client IP but in this case is just returning an empty string. The strange thing is that the Apache logs are recording the real client IP.
