Filemaker?
Why would you use a flat file db system for an application that is expecting
5000 users hitting it a day?
May aswell use excel spread sheets or xml files

Rob, Will the DB be running on OS X as well or is it a separate box.
If its OS X then have a look at 4D http://www.4d.com, or even filemaker. I
have not used both for a while so I'm not sure what they are like.

hey guys,
We are running coldfusion on a os x box which will have potentially
5000 users accessing it all day everyday. We are currently considering
running a mysql db however due to the level of support for this product
we are a little bit hesitate. What are the other options out there,
our db guy was really keen on this
http://store.openbase.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/OpenBaseStore?page=home
however my concern is that it won't connect to coldfusion.
Are there better products out there???
Rob.
