And it can be run outside the browser as a standalone Flash movie. A couple of points: (1) it can do some funky things with your fonts when exporting as SWF (2) I believe export-to-SWF is only available in 1.1, not 1.0, and therefore it is not available on all platforms yet (so you're OK on Windows but not Mac) - unless you build your own copy of OOo110 :)


As was also mentioned, Breeze converts PPT to SWF (but I believe it does it on the server) and I think that at least one of the new Macromedia Robo* products can do this as well (but I'm not yet familiar enough with them to be certain).
