I get
exactly the same problem here.
Its a
combination of the mail server you're using and the way the Daemon lists
work.
Our
mail server here can best be described as 'dodgy' and will sometimes not accept
mail very quickly.
The
way the Daemon mail list server works is that if it can't deliver the message
fairly quickly, it will que it up for later delivery.
This
is the delay you are experiencing.
The
delay is triggered by a short delay at your end, but the length of the delay is
determined by when the Daemon list serve can get a 'fast' response from your
mail server.
All
these mail worms don't help with speedy mail delivery
either.
