Star City has Ethernet connections in their rooms, but I recall they charge some exorbitant rate for using it. I wouldn't use it even if someone else is picking up the tab as a matter of principle.
They do have free Internet access in the business centre, but if you need to plug in your laptop in your room you're better off dialling into your ISP's Sydney POP.
