Yes, I'm using Opera 7.23 and it still happens in 7.50rc2.

Ah ha!  I do know what this means as I've just spent
several hours wondering why one form on our site
wasn't working.   I'm willing to bet you are using
Opera as your browser?

Hmmmm a bit different isn't it.   I'm guessing some
browsers ignore the dodgy syntax, but Opera handles it
differently and makes CF throw the error.
