Hi Kevin,

Possibly because createodbcdate('12 March 2004') defaults to midnight, and
now() retains the time today aswell, I just tried it and it's about 10:30,
with the difference being 38000 secs, which looks about right?
Yep that seem to be what happening - but when you output the variable you 
don't get the time part - it's slightly odd. Seems it's a date in some 
cases and a date/time in others.

The fix is to put dateformat around the now() but I'd still like to know if 
this is expected behaviour or possibly a bug in CF.
