Thanks for the followup.

I finally convinced the client to reboot the shared server, and the problem
with the CFX_PUTIMAGE tag resolved itself. It was running low on some
resource, but I could not identify what. The tag had been functioning quite
happily for over 2 years, so I am hoping this was a one off anomoly that
will not reoccur.

The tag inserts into a temporary access db, so your oracle version probably
isn't an option for me. At this stage I'll continue to run with cfx_putimage
unless the tag starts misbehaving again.
