Hi, Is this an incredibly stupid question? Has it been answered before? Am I the only one having this problem? Did someone answer and I didn't get the reply?
The titles being returned by Verity are being converted to UPPER CASE for htm documents, but not for binary documents like PDFs. This happens on all my verity collections on that machine. I didn't knowingly change anything to cause this. It only seems to be an issue on collections that are indexed via type="PATH". See http://www.telsyte.com.au/search.cfm?searchstring=ditm where the first document is a PDF (with a really silly title but it's protected and I can't change it) and the rest are HTM (and no the title in the actual documents is not upper case). Any ideas? It used to work OK and I only noticed after updating to 6.1 (standard). This is a Win2K IIS machine. Can someone please post a link to a similar verity/cfmx 6.1 search engine that is indexed using something similar to: <cfindex action="UPDATE" collection="collection_name" key="c:\whatever\" type="PATH" urlpath="/" extensions=".htm, .pdf" recurse="Yes"> So that I can at least prove that it's just my server.
