2003 Server has IIS6 which is more secure by default. 2003 Server automatically adds .cfm document into each web site by default when MX 6.1 is installed. IIS6 has better management functionality. Future versions of CF might integrate further into IIS6?
Go with 2003 if it's an option. > -----Original Message----- > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf > Of Yorke Hinds > Sent: Thursday, 18 March 2004 3:41 PM > To: CFAussie Mailing List > Subject: [cfaussie] Win2000 / 2003 > > I have the option of hosting MX 6.1 on Win2000 or Win2003 ( > both std edition - no web edition). > > What are the pros/cons oe each with respects to MX? > > > > --- > You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: > [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank > email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > MXDU2004 + Macromedia DevCon AsiaPac + Sydney, Australia > http://www.mxdu.com/ + 24-25 February, 2004 > > --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] MXDU2004 + Macromedia DevCon AsiaPac + Sydney, Australia http://www.mxdu.com/ + 24-25 February, 2004
