Don't take my previous statement as saying that I think the price is good.
I'm furious about the price and have been very vocal about this with Macromedia over 
the last week. 
I think they have made a major mistake with this. 
Scott's right too. Macromedia is totally sticking to their 'it will sell' assumptions, 
and don't seem to be open to any suggestions otherwise.

The thing to remember for people on this list is this:
Macromedia does not think that the type of people that are on this list (unless you 
work for a very large multinational-type company with a very large web budget) are 
going to be their market, and as such they are not targeting you for this product.
As such, they don't care if you think the price is too high, because they never 
expected you to buy it anyway.
The big question is this:
Will their target market (Enterprise level Java developers) want to buy it?

I hope they will, but I think they won't.
