But I can be a good one - can't I ? ;)

More case for saying "lets have FLEX at a nice price". They should get
more sales that way in any case.

I have had that feeling - even though I have never had to actually develop
a site that is Flash centric.

Luckily, I have always dropped the idea of using Flash before any work had
to be wasted. I know, the cynic again, but I am just summing up what I
have personally found when you start to go down the Flash road (look above
to the comments you have made).

Although, if you look at my response to Geoff's post, you will see that
what we want is a multitude of small Flash applets that plug into FarCry
containers and rules. We dont want to replace the whole dashboard area
with a Flash application.

Yep.

However, if the rest of the hype about building reusable objects in Flash
is to be believed, I *should* be able to build (or buy) components that do
all the fancy look and feel stuff for me. Or I build it once and don't
worry after. And, I think you said in an earlier post that while FLEX can
be tailored that there is a learning path to do that as well. It's a
lose/lose situation.

> Personally, if you have a development team larger then 2!

Yes and probably growing.

> actually own all the license copies of your software

Yes (in fact probably more than we use).

> host very big
> websites and furthermore your not a webdevelopment agency

"very big" is probably subjective - but it's not small. And we aren't a
web development agency.

SO....... "Beam Me Up, Scotty".

Probably why we have not committed to the technology wholesale (as well as
the Flash learning curce).

Have a nice evening, everyone.
