Subject: [cfaussie] download a remote file

Hey Y'all,

One of our software suppliers posts updates to their (virus protection) software to their website daily. The file is a zip file, and I would like to schedule a CF job to automate the download, unzipping and moving of files to the appropriate server on a daily basis.

I can handle the unzipping and moving part, but i am unsure how to download the file so that it saves a copy to my webserver ready for unzipping.

Can someone please help me with the automated download process? I am playing with <CFHTTP> but not sure if this is the way to go.

The zip file is available at: http://www.trendmicro.com/ftp/products/tsc/tsc.zip if anyone wants to test their ideas.

Thanks,

Steve C
