Sounds like someones got lots of time on there hands :)

I've used that pixy.cz one before, and to get the color codes etc, i use a small little but DAMN good program called colorCop, basically it allows you to take an eyedropper sample of anything on screen aswell as capture a portion of that screen.. check it out (google: "color cop 5.3")

I went to the site, put in two colours and nothing?

For my own benefit, I have been developing a colour schemer tool, and I’ve put it on my web site for others to use, comment about, and help me improve it.

There are lots of colour development tools around, I know, but I got into doing my own because all the tools I have known about use javascript and the scheme can’t be saved. For example there’s a great one at http://www.pixy.cz/apps/barvy/index-en.html but if you click anywhere on the page, or try to cut and paste the colour numbers, it changes the scheme and you can’t get back again easily. The only way to record the scheme you work on so hard, is to get a pen and paper and write down all the colour numbers.

So I started developing my own, so I can produce a chart for each site I’m working on with the colours I’ve decided on for the site listed out. I’ve put it on my web site and I’d really appreciate if you could go have a look, and let me know if there’s any way I can make it more useful, any features I should add.

Features I’ve already put on the list:

[1] Email the colours to yourself so you have a chart available for later use

[2] Have more than one colour series blending together. Perhaps put three colours and have them blend from one to the other instead of just a beginning and ending colour.

[3] Have a column with the colour of this row with its complementary colour on the colour wheel. (i.e. a red box would have a green one too)

http://afpwebworks.com/colourschemer/ is the address. (note the Australian COLOUR not the American COLOR)
