You can already refer to a query as an array, i.e. queryName.columnName[1] and as a structure.

Subject: [cfaussie] query to arrayOfStructs function?

Having being so impressed with CF’s built in listToArray(), arrayToList(), valueList() functions, I was hoping there was a “qryToArrOfStructs()” and “qryToArray()” to convert a query to other formats.

I was so spoilt with ASP/ADO’s “recordSet.GetRows()” (query to 2D array) and “.GetString()” (query to CSV string) that I was hoping there was something similar.

anyone know of any? my Googling hasn’t found a custom tag to do it either…

thanx
