Afternoon,

You may recall yesterday I wrote with a performance problem with the JayBird JDBC driver & linux ColdFusion MX 6.1 After further investigation, I have discovered that this problem exists with all queries for us on MX. I have hooked MX and 5 up to an SQL Server box we have around. No other users are using this server, and both 5 and MX are running on identical boxes (hardware wise - software wise MX is running on RedHat 9, and 5 on RedHat 7.2), so there are no hardware issues to speak of.

I am getting mean differences of around 27% on a query that returns 7100 rows.
On a query that returns 24000 rows, I get a mean difference of 36%.

Has anyone noticed that MX is slower with database access generally, or do you think there could be something up with our configuration?

Your help is most appreciated, this is beginning to drive me insane!

Many Thanks,

Laszlo
