That is what I thought, I have done this code many times in the last 8 years
and I can't tell you why I did it this way, maybe just that the other half
was nagging in my ear at the time and I wasn't thinking. But I was curious
to know when this was changed, of if anyone had ever noticed this.

I recall many discussions about doing a page relocation, and that cfcookie
was not to be used prior to it on the same page as it will never get set on
the new page.

So you can see my surprise when I did this by accident!

And addtoken I have been using since CF5.0, I have always set my cflocations
to addtoken="no" to make sure that the url is always clear of this mess:-)

Sorry about that AFAIK that feature/enhancement was introduced as part of
CFMX(6.0).

I must admit that I was aware of it theoretically but didn't know that
cfcookie could do it as well as the cfset method, interesting.
