I have started a project to build an UDF library that implements all (or most) CFML functionality that isn't available as functions already. These include queries, throwing and rethrowing errors, cfdump, cfflush, etc.
I have spoken to other developers who considered writing something like this or have even written some functions because they were sick of rewriting stuff from cfscript to cfml so they could use (cfquery|cfdump|cfwhatever) inside a loop. The purpose of the project is to provide one properly debugged library for all to use.
I have set up the project on Sourceforge. The (somewhat ugly) homepage is http://fucf.sourceforge.net
Also check out the project page at http://sourceforge.net/projects/fucf/
The code is also available through CVS. Information on how to get the code is here: http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=104667
I'd really appreciate any help in form of comments, bug reports, bugfixes, new code, a decent design for the home page, etc. But what I'd like most is if people found this library useful... so give it a try and let me know how you go.
Regards, Vik
