Rather than a proliferation of projects, why not contribute to an existing one like OpenXCF (also on SourceForge)?
The main reason I didn't contribute to OpenXCF is because I didn't know it existed. The only suitable ColdFusion project I knew about at the time I started the project is cflib.org; but I was a project admin already for another project on SourceForge and I was familiar with the services they offer so I decided to start a new project there.
In retrospect I still think that it makes some sense as the project's scope is clearly defined and limited. We just want to provide a simple to use library so people can use <cfscript> without the current limitations.
BTW, I've mentioned to you that I'm starting the project after MXDU -- not sure if you have pointed me to OpenXCF then as there was a fair amount of beer consumed on the night ;)
