Do a search for CFX_IIS

It does alot of stuff, but you cant just add virtual directories and change
properties. The tag makes you delete the site and re create it with the
changes. I have been using it for a control pannel I am working on.

Subject: [cfaussie] Configuring IIS with Coldfusion

G'Morning,

I am looking for a solution on how to control the properties of IIS via a
com object to be used in Coldfusion, I am aware that there are some script
out there that can create what I am looking for in VBS.

What I am specifically looking for is to be able to create, and get a list
of directories as well as whether they are virtual or physical. I have seen
many examples in .Net, but not being a great .Net coder I don't know how to
convert this code to be used in Coldfusion.

I am hoping that the com objects that Windows uses already as the coding
methods and I just need to write wrappers for them in CF.

Has anyone done this before, or have any examples or documentation they can
point me to.

Many thanks in advance.
