Apple are obviously tying the functionality of they're products together
like MS and IExplorer/explorer. MS does a similar thing with their
(local installed) help files

I think it's just a Safari thing. (it IS safari you're using with this,
yes?)

can you make it a link on a page that does this? if so, CF can help.

just a thought

Subject: [cfaussie] calling ical from web browser.... can i make
appointments this way??

just noticed that if i type

ical://

it opens up ical from the browser.... i might be on too many echinacea
pills but i am thinking i could set it up so coldfusion could create a
url string like:

ical://make_an_appointment?29_4_04-rob_on_drugs

so when they click on it then generates and appointment in ical???

please tell me i am still on earth and that this is possible??

thanks

rob.
