Yep, Flex is *way* more than a compiler... but I'm with Chris - a Flex-like
language to create "traditional" Flash RIAs with a text editor and a
compiler would be *awesome*. I don't care about that other stuff - I'd just
love to create the same Flash Remoting apps I'm doing now (or would be if I
were less slack) without messing with the Flash IDE. I dare say a LOT of
people would be very much into that.
