can you try using * as attributes?
 
I am pretty sure that the correct attributes for you may be.
 
'dn' and 'mail'
 
ie. attributes="dn,email"
 
distinct name and email
 
not sure if thats the problem tho.

The system has attempted to use an undefined value, which usually indicates a programming error, either in your code or some system code.

Null Pointers are another name for undefined values.
