I forced myself to learn and understand DWMX and I'm sold. It does take
some adjustment to let go of the things you know and love in Studio, but
almost everything you can do in Studio you can do in DWMX. And heaps more.
That's the thing - you can do everything you used to, even if you sometimes
have to learn to do it a different way. And there are lots of
improvements. For example the file upload works in DWMX, which is what I
think is the single most important improvement for me. And I occasionally
use design view and of course that's disabled in Studio.

The only things I miss from Studio is the CTRL-Double-Click on a tag to
select from one end to the other of a pair of tags, and the code
collapsing. That, I found very useful when dealing with long templates or
nested CFIFs.

Otherwise, I wouldn't go back. I think DWMX2004 is a far more stable and
far superior product.

You really need to "force" yourself to like Dreamweaver MX 2004. It is worth
the perseverance even for us Studio/HomeSite+ fans.

They more of us that use it the better feedback we can give MM for future
releases.
