Sorry to be painful, but anyone had any similar experiences with setting
up offsite db connections?

Hi - we are trying to get our MX 6.1 server, shared hosting of course
:/, to connect to a NexusDB database (www.nexusdb.com.au) located at
the clients office via an IP address. All firewall & port forwarding
issues are sorted out.

Is it as simple as setting up an ODBC datasource on the MX server? The
NexusDB has an ODBC driver installed on it.

Do we need to install anything else on the server, or is it possible to
setup a DSNless connection and use connection string?

Anyone tried this?

Thanks for any info.
James
