Sean and others, Thanks for your replies!
After I posted this yesterday, I sat down and did some thinking and found that the best way was to do as Sean suggested. Which works well. The problem is that we host many clients as well as have a lot of intranets that we support, the cfc's that I have designed were to integrate into our Ticketing/Help desk solution. This way when the intranet/client running cf had an error, support or who ever needed to be assigned would automatically get the error sent to them. The problem is that the framework had evolved over time, and as each new clients come on board the framework gets new features and enhancements. Although I don't see this cfc has one that would change a great deal, I needed a way to stop the intranet from erroring on a CFC web service that ended up changing. Just thinking ahead, and trying to cover possible scenarios:-) Regards Andrew Scott Technical Consultant NuSphere Pty Ltd Level 2/33 Bank Street South Melbourne, Victoria, 3205 Phone: 03 9686 0485 - Fax: 03 9699 7976 --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
