You could do something fancy with a hidden window that checks if the parent window is still navigating your site. But thats about the only thing you can do as far as I am aware.
I think I have seen netsol.com use this.. -----Original Message----- From: Carl Vanderpal [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Monday, 28 June 2004 1:54 PM To: CFAussie Mailing List Subject: [cfaussie] End Session Hello CFAussie, 2 pronged question: 1) If someone closes the browser window (and not just goes to another page in the website) how do I end session variables? 2) I have a meta-refresh of 5 mins of inactivity, so how would I get around the Java-Script (alert or confirm) or is there another way? Or can you do it thru Application.cfm Thanks Best regards, Carl Vanderpal Po Box 3462 Dural, NSW 2158 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/ Register now for the 3rd National Conference on Tourism Futures, being held in Townsville, North Queensland 4-7 August - www.tq.com.au/tfconf --- You are currently subscribed to cfaussie as: [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe send a blank email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Aussie Macromedia Developers: http://lists.daemon.com.au/
