I have a question for all the Version Control gurus out there.

I'm about to implement a new version control system. My choice for version
control is now down to either CVS or SVN (Subversion).
The scales were tipping in favour of SVN, until someone mentioned to me that
SVN didn't integrate well with IDEs yet. They were a java developer and not
a CF developer, so this opinion may or may not apply to what I want to do.
I was planning on using either TortoiseCVS or TortoiseSVN on the clients.
I personally use Homesite+, but others use Dreamweaver. At some future point
we may want to explore the possibility of using Eclipse as well.
I'm under the impression that the Tortoise clients will just work with
Homesite, but how will they go with Dreamweaver? Do I need to use a client
at all, or will these IDEs just plug into the CVS or SNV servers?

Has anyone had any experience with this?
Does anyone have any thoughts or suggestions?

Regards
