Getting used to Eclipse is not such a difficult thing. Most people seem to
find that the benefits far outweigh any negatives.

Which plugins are you trying to use?

There are quite a few that can be downloaded as source files and easily
compiled if the release versions don't work.

We are actively trying to ensure that there is a working version of any
plugin that people need for CF development downloadable in a compiled format
either from the source site, or from our site. If you have a particular one
you need join up on the users list on http://cfeclipse.tigris.org and we'll
see if we can get it working for you.

Glad to hear it works for you.

Get on the issue tracker and let us know what else you'd like to see. The
more requests for features, the sooner they will get added.

CSS and JavaScript plugins are downloadable from Nathan Strutz' page
(http://www.dopefly.com/pages/cfeclipse.html) xmlbuddy
(http://www.xmlbuddy.com) is pretty good for XML.

cfeclipse supports a good amount of HTML stuff already, so I haven't had any
need for a HTML specific editor.

There are also good plugins available for CVS and Database connection
support if you need them.
