Hey Mike,

I can't think of any way of doing it for coldfusion without either client side 
software or the ability for coldfusion to map the dongle and read from it...  Though 
one 'workaround' which I leave open for criticism, is to have the login for your app 
redirect to a local disc (the USB key) eg. u:\login.html

This login.html has a private key in a hidden field that can be submitted via the form 
along with a password to the coldfusion server?  Obviously browser caching and such 
might be a problem, I don't know, but depending on your workplace might be sufficient.
